Suruchi Kansagra welcomes you to her home – a beautifully restored farmhouse nestled in the peaceful village of Troutbeck, within the Lake District National Park.
What started as a dream to share the beauty of the Lake District has become something truly special. Suruchi combines her passion for hospitality with her Indian heritage, creating an experience you won't find anywhere else.
Continental breakfast is offered free with every stay, served each morning in our dining room with care.
The farmhouse itself is a treasure – rustic four-poster beds, a cozy lounge with a log fire, and grounds where red squirrels play and birds sing.

The Farmhouse
LaneHead Farm Country Guest House sits in a peaceful corner of Troutbeck, with Keswick just 8 minutes away and Penrith about 15 minutes by car.
The house offers hybrid, comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation with access to a shared lounge featuring a cozy log fire and a fully equipped kitchen. For special occasions, the full house can be reserved for family get-togethers over the holidays.
Outside, enclosed gardens and a fire pit invite evening relaxation, while our shared 5-seater hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring the fells. Parking is available for up to 9 vehicles.
